Say Goodbye to Stubborn Verrucas
Verrucas can be painful, embarrassing, and incredibly persistent - often resisting over-the-counter treatments and lingering for months or even years.
At Croydon Verruca Clinic, based at Burchell and Associates, we provide a modern, clinically proven solution using the revolutionary Swift® microwave therapy.
This cutting-edge treatment is designed to penetrate deep into the skin, stimulating your body’s natural immune response to target and clear even the most stubborn verrucas - quickly, safely, and effectively.
Introducing Swift - A Breakthrough Treatment
Swift is a cutting-edge treatment that uses microwave energy to target the root of the verruca. It works by stimulating the body’s natural immune response, helping your body eliminate the virus that causes verrucas (HPV).
- No need for dressings or downtime
- Suitable for adults and children
- Quick, clean, and proven effective

The Stages of Treatment

Before Treatment – Infected Skin
The image shows a cluster of infected skin cells (verruca) caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
The wart is embedded in the outer layer of the skin and supported by blood vessels feeding it from below.
During Treatment – Microwave Energy Application
The image shows the Swift® device applying microwave energy directly to the affected area.
The coloured layers indicate deep, controlled heating (without burning the skin) which triggers a natural immune response by stimulating the body to recognise and fight the virus internally.

After Treatment – Clear Skin
The image shows normal, healthy skin after successful treatment.
The verruca and virus-infected tissue have been cleared by the immune system, with no damage to surrounding skin.
